I just went for a short run. It is STILL 102 heat index here. Even I am ready for cooler air. Just like you guys cooled down too soon, we stayed hot too long.
Boca Raton is having a real problem with iguanas. I guess they produce up to a pound of waste a day. I just think it's cool to see them running around. I've seen one that was up to 3 feet long with his tail.
Someone come up here and help me pick out paint for my bathroom. The guy is coming on Saturday.
Also..what's the weather report for Halloween in Algona? THey're saying rain/snow up here. If it's nicer down there, maybe we'll trick or treat in Algona.
Xavier did not make it to state. I was hoping they would. It's in Fort Dodge. Could have gone and cheered Sean on and then up to Algona. Xavier placed 4th and the top 3 go.
We set a date for the wedding. It's going to be Saturday, July 3. The wedding and reception will be near Lisle, Illinois — Brianne's hometown. It's very close to Naperville, where Ed used to live just outside Chicago. We hope you all can make it!

Sean came in about the middle of the pack. Which is where he usually is. His time was terrible but everyone's was. The course was super muddy and hilly. Plus it was very cold. Oh well, he's done for the season and can now get a job. Ha!

Desmond is gonna have an ad in the Super Bowl, but also the campaigh is buying all of Penn Station for the month of December and then again Super Bowl Week, plus every cab topper in all of Miami during Super Bowl week!
When I dropped Jude off at school today, his teacher excitedly tells me that it's going to be a very busy day. Someone dressed as Luther is going to talk to the kids and there will be a skit! It's all a surprise and the kids don't know! And I'm thinking- he's four. what the heck is Luther going to say to a bunch of four year-olds? I know I had a confused look on my face. The preschool is a really nice, little school though.
