Thanks for the birthday wishes. It was a fun day. Played some golf with a friend, then had a nice dinner-and-a-movie date with Brianne. We saw "The Master." It had some amazing performances from Joaquin Phoenix and Phillip Seymour Hoffman, but it was a weird movie overall. Although I kind of expected that going in.
I'm really looking forward to going to the Notre Dame-Stanford game next weekend. Thanks for the tickets, Mom and Dad! Brianne will be at a ladies' weekend for her mother's birthday, so I'm taking my friend from college, Rusty. He's never been to South Bend; he's very excited.
