Thanks to everybody for the well wishes on our engagement. This was a very silent endeavor in that I didn't tell anybody I was planning on doing it until the very last minute. It was a pure surprise that I think (and hope) Jen appreciated. So yes, we are to wed. When and where has yet to be determined. To the advice of several people, we're going to just enjoy the engagement for a bit before we dive into the specifics of the wedding.
Thanks for the birthday wishes! It was a great one. We had a party on Saturday night and Molly, Brian and Catie came and surprised me. We ended up having a big sleepover with the Reeders, Richardsons, Brianne's cousin Bobby, my friend Jimmy and his Air Force buddy Ramrod. There was a birthday rap, bacon-infused s'mores by the fire pit and apple pie in a glass. It was quite a night.
