Happy Birthday, Jim. For your birthday, judging from that picture, I think you need a remedial two-handed broadsword, a Scottish dirk or a battle axe (no reference to Erin; see previous posts!)

Too bad you guys (brothers) aren't coming to Ellen's baby shower. You're missing out on all the talk of breast pumps. There's a double-barreled secret agent briefcase kind but it's costly.
Here's our Kia Rondo lament: It's been in the shop for a week. It was stalling out! Fewer than 5000 miles on it!
When we bought this car we checked out Consumer Reports (thank you, Ed). Kia and Hyundai had received an award from JDPowers (or what ever it's called) and we thought we were getting a great deal.
So my Kia starts stalling and I google: Why does my kia keep stalling? You would not believe what popped up! This seems to be a very common yet unsolved problem for Kia. Back to Consumer Reports, JDPowers and Edmunds.com and still no mention of that pesky stalling problem. Then a friend told me her brother's Hyundai Santa Fe was in the shop because it kept stalling out. Go figure! I told her that I was curious to hear what they tell him the problem is.
For now my assumption is that when there are unsolvable problems in cars it's a software problem.
Fyi people with kids - there's a big children's tylenol and motrin recall. I usually buy target brand of this stuff but of course the one time I didn't the one I"ve been giving Jude is on the recall list.
Hey everyone - our land line is out so if you need to call us call our cells. We are bundled with cox - cable, internet and phone but it's the phone line that's screwed up. They offered to come out between 10 PM and mdnight last night or Friday morning so we chose Friday. Since our phone lines run through a secret room and laundry room that are scary in broad daylight, let alone midnight.

The best part of that picture is knowing the dolls are not your daughter's. What a great uncle.

Actually, I think he needs a few outfits for the little dollies.

That's my week in a nutshell.
See ya!

Happy Birthday Jim!
At least your breaks aren't going out, Lisa. That still stinks though.
Summer is almost here, who all is planning on doing at least part of RAGBRAI?
Yeah summer is almost here and they're talking snow flurries Fri night.
Huh. We had a heat index of 95 yesterday. (88 degrees)

Happy birthday, Uncle Jim! Hope it was a good one.
I'm planning on riding RAGBRAI Monday and Tuesday. That's Storm Lake-Algona and Algona-Clear Lake. I can't wait to see the Vic Ferrari Band in Algona.
Regarding the Tylenol / motrin scare:
It's not unusual for brand names to manufacture the off-brand type of their product.
