I just washed and scrubbed the deck. Tomorrow, barring rain, I will stain it. I don't know how this job became mine in the division of chores but I actually love doing it. Hopefully I will get to the fence which has weathered for a year too. I hate interior painting. All that taping is so tedious. The guy at the local hardware store said I could just scrub the deck with diluted oxyclean and I wouldn't have to power wash it unless it was in really bad shape. I really like going to the local hardware store too. Beats a trip tomHome Depot or Lowes for sure.
