Two new tires in back, new windshield in front, a thermos of coffee and a cooler full of sandwiches, Pepsi and iced tea in the back seat spells ROAD TRIP! Jacksonville, here we come. Kind of excited to marathon with my boyfriend again. Oh, crap, when is the All-Star break?
Thanks! We went out for a great dinner last night, and tonight we'll get very patriotic with the symphony and fireworks at the Yankee Doodle Pops concert.
The All-Star game is next Tuesday, so you should have plenty of baseball to listen to on the trip. Safe travels.
It is hot out there. We have a high of 99 for today. Tom started pollinating yesterday. They always seem to start on the very hottest days of the year.
Monica you will have to tell me how Tom pollinates and what that does to his allergies.
Went to Cathy's party at the farm. How wonderful. The Jayjack kids had the place all decorated in red white and blue. We ate ribs, beans, rice, chips, potatoes, fruit, and etc. Just like we always do when we're down there. Pat was there with Manny, he and Oscar got along famously. Bobo and Glenda were there and also Karen (Jayjack) and her husband Dave.
Last night was the last swim meet of the season. (I think) Whew!
Happy 4th of July! My mom's party weekend was a success, I think. It was a lot of fun!
Today we celebrated Caroline's 2nd of 3 mini birthday celebrations. She said she wanted her cousins, a motorcycle and cupcakes for her birthday. She got her Jayjack cousins last weekend, then her Reeder cousins today. She also got her fill of cupcakes and a totally awesome motorcycle trike. She's pumped! We are going to surprise her with tumbling/ gymnastics classes for her actual bday on Sunday.
