Happy Birthday, Pete and Ed! Ed, Creighton gave you a nailbiter for your birthday. Pete, I made you a Polish dog on a steamed hoagie bun with sauteed onions and kraut for your birthday, but you never came so I had to eat it during the game. Now in honor of your birthdays, Stevo is going to show me yet another city park I've never been to, and then....Shamrock shakes. Enjoy!

Happy Belated Birthday Ed!!!

Happy Belated Birthday Pete...is that a dead Captain Morgan? He used to be a friend of mine.

Mary, I'm not exactly sure what the cause of death was, but I know after her amputation, there were problems with her kidneys.

We are going to Chicago on Friday to see Manny and Ed and Pat and Josh. Des and Jen, will you be around? Would love to be able to see everyone!

We were thinking about coming to Whittemore too. And I think Molly too.

I think they're about 4 or 5 weeks apart.

About Easter. One of the reasons we come home when we do is so we can be here at Easter. In fact, I've already talked to Mary Ellan about ordering leg of lamb. We are coming home Tuesday of Holy Week, April 2nd so that we can be here for Holy Week services.
So, you know the drill. Let us know whether or not you are coming, even if you cannot come. How many? When will you get here? When will you leave? If you have adult kids not living with you, please ask them the same questions and let us know. We hope to see you Easter weekend.
On another note, we just got a call from Richie Strong, Diane's husband. He'll be stopping to see us in a few minutes. Love, Dad

I want to come for Easter. My food request: Joe will you make creamed cabbage to go with the leg of lamb?
I will do what ever anyone wishes that is portable: Mashed potatoes or desserts or carrot & raisin salad... wine...
I miss everyone so much.

Molly and I are about 5 weeks apart. If these babies continue to follow the pattern of their cousins, Molly will have a boy and I will have a girl.

We will be in Whittemore for Easter. Cannot wait!

Was glad to hear a tv reporter say today that she picks her brackets by mascots. Are the Ichabods division 1?
Oscar and I were talking about death the other night and he gazed up at the stars and said dreamily, "When I die, I want to be at the gas station." He and Brian walk there occasionally to get a treat and he thinks it's the best place ever.
Looking forward to Easter! I don't know if Stevo has Monday off but we'll come on Friday night and stay until Sunday night or Monday.
