Happy Birthday, Dad and Eli! Tuesdays don't seem like very fun days for birthdays, but hopefully you can enjoy an ice cream treat or something with this last little bit of warm weather!
We all had a lot of fun celebrating my Dad's birthday this past weekend, and my siblings and I had fun planning it! Although we couldn't keep the whole trip a surprise, he was surprised by a few things. Especially all the cards everyone sent! And like my mom said, the weather was perfect. I have a picture of Caroline playing on the beach in her diaper with her cousins in short sleeves and rolled up pants behind her. Not warm enough to swim, but still nice to dip your toes in.
Happy Birthday, Steve! :-) Thank you for Eli's birthday wishes. He had a great day altho we didn't let him stay home from school as he requested. We gave him a white Nike thermal fit sweatshirt (swag) and an X-Box game. Tom made chicken alfredo and it was amazing! He chose a Cold Stone Creamery cake for dessert and it was yummy. He rec'd some nice cards and drank Mt. Dew with reckless abandon. A perfect day...except for school, ha!

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes and all who sent cards and the tasty liquid gift. We had a great time last weekend at the cabins and I was really surprised by all the cards and the bottle of Buffalo Trace. A special thanks to Molly, Ellen, Joe,Grace,and grandkids for arranging the weekend and the wonderful food and gifts. Best part of all was just being together. Thanks again. Love you all.
