Thank you Joe3 for going over to the house and picking up lady-beatles!
For Liam's birthday...he wants General Tsao's chicken, woohoo! I made him a round, double-decker red velvet (thought about Lisa while I made it) cake with fudge frosting. He wanted Ande's mints on top...but, I forgot.
We're hoping Liam gets our house sold for his B-Day as we have a showing this afternoon. Thank you, Mary for going over and turning on the lights.
Thank you for the birthday wishes...I'll have Liam check the blog tomorrow. :-)
As a last minute decision we ended up at Golden Corral.
Food was okay. What you might expect of mid to lower tier buffet food. All you can eat steaks were decent. Salad bar was very extensive. Extenisive dessert offerings complete with a soft service ice cream machine. The food was not replenished as frequently as one would hope.
None of us ate a whole lot except Don who employed his hollow leg. However, they must put something in the food that makes you sleepy. We all went home and flopped all together on our king size bed. The cat and dog too. We were asleep by 9.
I think this sleepy ingredient's original purpose is to keep you from going through the buffet more than 3 times. Nefarious.
I left my jeans on the floor last night. I just went to put them on to go teach and as I pulled my leg through, a big lizard jumped out the bottom. This was not a little gecko it was one of the fat 4 or 5 inch ones. Now I have no idea where it is. I went to get tupperware to pin it in but I can't find it. It ran in the bathroom but nowhere to be seen.
Phelan's band BIRDNAMES is on tour for the next 6 weeks...tonight in Baltimore, then 2 nights in Philly and 2 nights in New York, etc...pretty exciting!
Just got back from a production of Babe at the Minneapolis Children's Theater. It was sooooo good. Lots of fun. Jude loved it and we were both amazed at how well some of the actors became animals.
I loved "Babe" the movie...Minn/St.Paul has more live theatres per capita that NYC.
Uncle Bob's visit with Mom and Dad is already over...they're taking him to the airport.
Marilyn McC. is now a resident of the Good Samaritan home...her family made the difficult decision and she moved in on Monday. She seems to like it there.
"I'm tired of pretending I'm not special," he said. "I'm tired of pretending I'm not a total bitchin' rock star from Mars."
"I am on a drug," Sheen said. "It's called Charlie Sheen. It's not available because if you try it you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body."
A quick question for you all. Starting April 1, I will become an advertising contract worker. Essentially, I'll be my own "company," being contracted by advertising agencies and other, larger businesses to write ads for them.
Would it benefits be of becoming an LLC or Incorporated, if any? Is it worth it? Would I even be eligible to do it?

Liam is 12. He's 5'5" 130 pounds and wears a mens 9.5 shoe. Surprisingly, he's not the tallest in his class.
Happy Birthday Liam! General Tso's is my fav too.

Been to Golden Corral once for the fish extravaganza - don't bother. But we experienced the same effect. It is a decent salad bar, though.
I have missed so much.
Happy birthday Mia and Jude and Joe K. and Liam!
Have a happy and fun-filled year.
love,
lisa
P.S. Golden Corrall is great for when you want nothing more to feel happily full.
Happy Birthday Liam...you are a good looking Eagle!
Love,
Aunt Mary and Uncle Mike

We're not gonna tell, Tom.

I've got a trouser lizard too!
I think Charlie Sheen has turned into Spinal Tap. He might be actually funnier than Spinal Tap.
Sheesh, did you see him this morning?
He's manic. I think he's bipolar.
MOnica
Yeah i think it's a psychosis of some sort from so much drug use. His delusions of grandeur are just amazing.
p
it could be he's just having fun with the situation.
Meanwhile, it doesn't look like Gadhafi will go easily.
What did Charlie say?
I had Texas Holdem practice this morning. It was fun.
Here's a couple snippets:
"I'm tired of pretending I'm not special," he said. "I'm tired of pretending I'm not a total bitchin' rock star from Mars."
"I am on a drug," Sheen said. "It's called Charlie Sheen. It's not available because if you try it you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body."
I'm starting to buy in to everything Charlie says. I'm with Charlie, or Team Sheen.
Oh yah, that Sheen stuff is the best morning television I've seen in years!
Happy Casimir Pulaski Day all you Polacks!
Des,
you should make up some Team Sheen T-shirts withyour favorite quotes.
