Joe won the games, but I am not sure what the final standings were. My video of the trophy presentation did not work so if you have that information please share.
The weekend was great! Everybody had a good time and the rain on Sunday night didn't seem to bother anybody.

Congrats, Joe. I wish I would have been there to see it.
I hope everyone had a great time at the farm. I heard Ed made a surprise appearance, which is awesome.
Here's a link to that letter from crazy conspiracy theorist who thinks the razing of the golf course next to his Omaha home has something to do with a Zionist plot to build a magnetic superweapon, the testing of said weapon resulted in the death of Brook Berringer.

That was funny. Best comment in reply was the dead pan, "He beat me to it"
Here's something almost as funny...a Hawkeye fan in Lincoln:

BTW - congratulations, Joe. I'm sure you will do myself and all the other past champions proud.

WARNING: This morning I started practicing standing on one leg. Tomorrow I start shooting baskets, or rather, throwing basketballs in the general vicinity of the hoop.
Love the golf course guy. My favorite comment was that it's nice to see someone still uses typewriters.
Joe 4 had 11 points and Joe 3 came in 2nd with 9 points. Can't remember beyond that.
Joe 3 and Sean were tied with 9. In the event that Joe 4 can't fulfill his duties Joe 3 and Sean will run a 9 mile race to see who wins. I know who I'm betting on.
Monica
Oh yes, my apologies to Sean. I'm betting on Sean in a foot race too.
FYI - Joe Bisenius got called up by the Nationals yesterday. They are playing the Mets.
I defer to the Xavier Comet. Thank you. Joe3
Hey, has anyone ever seen this before?
Joseph J. Straub (January 19, 1858-Februrary 13, 1929) was a Major League Baseball catcher who played three seasons in the majors during the 19th century.
It's on Wikipedia. He was born in Germany.
Congratulations Joe4 and to Sean and Joe3 for runner up. Donny reports that there are 3 other "Straubs" in his class...must be descendants from the brewery in our nearby state.
The NFL kicks off tonight with the Vikings and Saints playing. Should be a good game.
And anybody who wants to see what Gene Chizik is up to can watch the Auburn/Miss St. game tonight too.
Guilty pleasure-asian hamburger helper mongolian-style beef made with a pound of ground lamb. Next time I'll throw some extras in there. There's something weirdly addictive about hamburger helper. I don't crave it at all, buy it maybe twice a year. But when it's made and sitting in the pan it's hard to stop eating it. You just keep spooning it up.
By the way-we need predictions for the Iowa State-Iowa game this saturday. I'll go out on a limb and predict ISU by 7. What do you think?
I'll say Iowa State by 1. Blocked extra point.
We are off to Sanibel for Josh's 40th birthday. He thinks we are going to MN, I'm curious to see how he packs. Instead his brother is meeting us here (in Sanibel - west coast of FL).
I will also pick ND by 7.
Yes, Joe I agree that Hamburger Helper is addictive.

I bet Joseph J. Straub played for the cubs the last time they won the world series....oh wait - he's too young. I guess not.
I predict Iowa wins by 7 but Arnaud (sp?) plays much better than and proves he's a better QB than Stanzi.
Anybody watch Temple beat Central Mich. last night on ESPNU in overtime? Good game!
Who does Neb. play this week?
Apparently, rabbits can be trained to use a litter box. I didn't know that.
Joe, Pat Slamkowski told me that when she finally left the hospital after Slam's surgery she stopped and bought 3 boxes of hamburger helper and a bottle of wine. Of course, she's a person who lives on Coke and cigarettes in normal times.
Wink Martindale. Could there be a better name? I don't think so.
I had a meeting last night and got home around halftime of Minn/NO. Stevo had prepared deluxe chili dogs and chips and I was in a food coma by the 4th quarter and still couldn't say for absolutely sure who won.
By the way, I put this on my facebook page this morning: Turkey bacon: an insult to bacon lovers everywhere. Man up and eat the pig.
Fun article:

There's a Chay Izquierdo in Jude's class. That's a pretty good name. What's the deluxe in a deluxe chili dog?
Bacon - pork bellies have hit an all time high. It's killing us.
I say Iowa by 4. ND by 9 but I hope by 50.
Just so happens we had classic Beef Hamburger Helper last night. I agree. I could have eaten it all night.
Best Hot Dog is a Chicago Style Dog. Big thick beef hot dogs flame grilled till they start to burst and are a little charred. On a bun with this oddly bright green pickle relish, sliced tomatoes, and a couple of little hot peppers. I put some spicy stadium mustard on mine. Best one I ever had was in the terminal at Midway.
Tom
ISU by 14
ND by 17
So it is written, so it shall be done.
Now I am craving a chili dog with cheese fries.
