So who do you like in the Poinsettia Bowl tonight? California or Utah? I picked California (because of Best) but the WAC beat the Pac 10 in last night's game pretty good (BYU over Oregon St.).
I heard a Christmas song I've never heard today. A small operatic choir starts out singing "Deck the halls with Boston Charlie! Tra-la-la-la-laaaa and kalamazoo!" from the old Pogo strip. Then after a couple verses sung in these silly cartoon opera voices they broke into a real fast jazz version with lots of fast scat singing. Should make anyone over 50 laugh out loud.
My family is happy to have Joe Jayjack with us for Christmas. His bacon press was the hit of our gift swap last night with my mom's family (stolen the maximum four times!) We went to Mass this afternoon at the chapel where we're getting married in July, which was exciting. Have a great time in Algona, etc!
Merry Christmas Brianne! And Joe! We're currently snowed in, but hoping to be able to go to Whittemore tomorrow, and possibly up to my parent's later today. Mia got a cash register from Santa and is using to mic on it to say "Oscar being naughty in aisle 5, there is an Oscar being naughty in aisle 5, Thank You."

Cute!
Flying out right in a couple of hours, assuming we'll be able to land in MN. Is it as bad as they predicted? The worst comes tomorrow, right?

Wonderful drawing, Don. So great!
Pat and Josh arrived last night and hopefully we'll all be able to drive down to Whittemore tomorrow.

Twas a nice Christmas, wasn't it?...despite the snow, car accidents and the looming grain sorghum crisis.
