How was thanksgiving??

Mine was cooked by an English woman. She did a good job celebrating America's history, though.
Someone (another guest) had brought this $200 liquor of some sort, an after dinner drink. I had no idea and they asked me how it was and I just shrugged my shoulders and said, "it was ok."

All weekend Josh has been wearing this $10000 watch bc it's not working and they can't figure out why, so he has to keep it energized (wear it) so he can see what kind of time it keeps. They have a big machine that the watches all go into for 2 weeks after a repair, it keeps them moving and rotating etc. I'm not sure why that doesn't serve the purpose. He's growing to like the watch a little too much.

Anybody who wants a picture of themselves posted on the blog for their birthday needs to send it to me, otherwise I will go with what I have. Sorry you didn't like your picute Nance, but it was the only one I had of you. Same goes for Joe.

I made a cranberry chicken salad sandwich for lunch today and I can't wait to eat it.

How was Thanksgiving at the Kennedy Compound?

Oh, I don't care about the picture...I was just giving you a hard time. :-)
So this weekend our checking account went negative due to a withdrawl for $169,900! I called the bank and the gal asked me if I used my atm card. Who takes $169,900 out of an atm machine?

A belated Happy Birthday to Joe and my lovely wife.

Joe, I think in recognition of your greatness and your birthday you should shoot at least 12 three pointers tonight.

Nance, I know your gift sucks and it isn't as shiny as my past gifts but I hope you like it anyway.

Happy Birthday to Joe4 and Nance - what did you do for your birthdays? What did you get? That must have been some present - $169,900!
Nance, have you checked to see if there's any other weird activity with your accounts? I know a woman who had her identity stolen (sounds so metaphysical) three years ago and she's still cleaning up the mess.

Happy Birthday Joe4!!

One good thing about Alabama (#1 in football) it's the state that "raised" Rosa Parks...her bio is pretty interesting...(on the right side...see...)

Some of you already know...
Mom and Dad were on their way to Florida (from Monica's house) when the news of Vern Muller's death came, and while Dad was deciding to go back to Whittemore he received a call from Kim Dahlhauser, whose husband had just been killed in an accident... Kim asked Dad to do his funeral homily. So, they returned to town. Anyway, I took Mom to the funeral..it was packed. Dad's homily was very good, many people came up to me after and said how it touched them...(there were 2 priests, one from ISU, and 2 deacons)
