I would like to propose a Mother's Day potluck brunch at our house on the Sunday morning after Des and Jen's festivities if anyone feels like it. I'll do a couple egg dishes, Ellen has already offered to bring drinks, others could bring breads or fruit if they wish, etc. Just very relaxed. Everyone wear pink. (kidding)We'll go to Mass on Saturday afternoon so it can be at any time if people want to hit the road early. Let me know what you think. How did I not know about The Old Man of the Mountain?
I'm upstairs and downstairs I can hear Josh and Manny blaming each other for whoever farted. I guess some things cross cultural and language boundaries.
That's funny, Pat. Yesterday when Caroline woke up from nap she yelled downstairs, "Mom change my diaper, there's poops it it." Then as I am walking up the stairs I can tell she's taking off her pants and diaper. I'm about to yell to wait, then she call "No Mom, just toots. There's just toots in there."
When will people be arriving in Omaha this weekend? Any Friday night or Saturday day plans?
The earlier the better for us, Mia has an inconsiderate soccer tournament that weekend. I think her Sunday game is at 11. Maybe not so great for those who wish to sleep in though.
I was listening to an Essurance commercial the other day. I've been hearing them for months and it suddenly hit me like I got smacked in the back of the head. "Hey, I know that voice!"
Can anyone else tell me who the voice is on the Essurance commercials?

If trusty old Jim says it's a good thing then it must be a smart choice. I mean, he may put your stapler in a Jello mold but he sure wouldn't steer you wrong on insurance.
2nd grade is learning tally charts and picture graphs. Me: 'How many more elephants than monkeys are there?' Student, without looking at the chart or bothering to count: 'Eleven!' Me: 'No, not eleven.' Student: 'But God told me it was eleven!'
