The power just went out on our whole block for about 45 minutes. Our turkey was in jeopardy and I was forming a backup plan, but then it came back on. Whew!
I had hired a server about 6 weeks ago. She made it clear shortly after starting that she was a lesbian. Okay. No big deal. She was working out okay and all was fine.
She happened to live in the same trailer park as my lead cook (who walked out on me about 3-4 weeks ago).
The lesbian discovers she is pregnant after a while. Says she had one last tryst with the ex husband. Since she is pregnant and being somewhat responsible she stops drinking.
But this causes a problem for her. She confides to one of the other servers that she thinks maybe she isn't a lesbian because now that she is sober she can't "get into" it with her girlfriend. When they were drunk together it was all good. But, not so sober. Funny!
Anyway, the lesbian a while back asked for a week off to go to Idaho to see one of her kids. Permission granted. But after she left I had a feeling and we scheduled assuming she wouldn't be back. She never came back or even called.
Just got news this morning she split from her lesbian lover and is now living with my former cook. For him a good day is when he can load his body full of crank.
All this makes me think that a great reality show would be set in a low income - high drama trailer park.
It's frightening how messed up people can be. That poor baby. It's doomed. There was girl picked up for prostitution here recently that was named Fashionista. She was doomed too.
