So, Ed, Joe, how's the nonsmoking going? Fill us in....let us provide moral or mortal support.
Talk to me.

Who is us? You can't offer support if you are a backporch weekend smoker...in my opinion... I would like to suggest an idea, no more smoking in Mom and Dad's kitchen, many people smoking there don't smoke in their own kitchen...in my opinion...do I sound like a beotch?

I think that mom and dad are the ones that should set the rules in their house.

As far as the no smoking goes, I actually think that I am getting more nicotine now with the gum and the patch than I had when I was smoking. So it hasn't been too bad.

Ricky, you can't smoke with the patch on!

Why can't one offer support if one is a backporch weekend smoker? (which I kind of consider myself, although now it's a twice a year smoker)

As a chocolate addict, who responds poorly to chocolate (headaches, eczymia (sp?), etc.) I do not have quite the same problem, but I do know it's hard. So I feel that I can offer support. By the way, I have been chocolate free for one week now! I don't think I would like a support group, though. Talking about it just makes me want to go to Godiva.

Guys that smoke are closet homosexuals. It is a phallic symbol.

I only smoke at weddings.

Is Joe quitting smoking too?
