Mary recently won 3rd place in the Catholic Daughters poster contest. She was awarded a St. Benedict medal.
I told her about Joe winning when I was a kid and that he wrote a poem about a new baby in the house. All I remember is get the diapers get the pins....
You know how hard it is to do diamonte poems? It took me forever to do the four I had for an assignment! But I wrote a great one about moms and dads. Now I have to make a Venn Diagram showing the similarities and differences between the Boston Massacre (pre-1776) and the Kent State shootings (Vietnam War era).
Yeah, I'm all sore from raking and I have a blister. It's all good. Yay for spring! (possibility of snow later this week) I feel dumb. Either I have forgotten or never knew what a diamonte poem is.
We all have had the flu. A terrible version of it. It covers all the bases. Headaches, chills, sweats, body aches, inconsobable fatique, sore throat(razor blades), cough, heavy booger flowage, sudden spells on the toilet. Lasts a week plus some.
