Andy just realized that Ellen has the last beer... Happy Anniversary Molly and Brian!!! Happy Anniversary Ellen and Andy!!! Congrats also on your growing families!!!
Andy and I will hopefully get to celebrate selling our house today, too. We have some very interested people coming for a second look. So we will have a rainy picnic dinner at the park with Caroline and Buddy while they go through our house again.
What a happy gift that would be Ellen! Brian and I had a fancy dinner with the kids tonight ( that means we used real plates and lit a candle). My parents are coming to babysit tomorrow and we will go out for the first time since Nico was born.
No update to give yet, so we still practicing not to getting our hopes up too much. Which is easy, because we started looking at other houses again finally and have yet to get excited about anything for currently for sale.
So, I'm going to do a little bragging here. I had Manny screened for free preschool for at risk kids at the local school. He qualifies as an ESL kid and as a kid who's had too many transitions and caretakers in his life. They accepted him (yay!) But the crazy part is that in testing (in English remember) he scored 99% in concepts and 91% in language. I'm pretty amazed. Smarty!
Smart boy that Manny! Lucky he still qualifies for the free preschool, I bet he will love it. Speaking of preschools, I start back to work October 1st. It seems too soon, although I've started rearranging furniture and cleaning out junk drawers around the house, so maybe I'm getting bored.
Today was pretty chilly and I made homemade chicken soup and grilled cheese for dinner. Yummy!
I won my first ever Fantasy football matchup last weekend, thanks to Trent Richardson and Willis McGahee, no thanks to Aaron Rodgers who only gave me 11 points. I am getting addicted to this whole fantasy football thing.
Nico is coming with me! My work built an infant room because there were 3 pregnant employees, although one quit yesterday so they have to find one more baby now. That's the good thing, I'll still be able to see him a lot and nurse him on my lunch break. I am still a little nervous but only because I've never gone back to full time work this soon after having a baby before. I'm trying to stay positive, this is the ideal situation for a working mother.
Yay Manny! Molly is lucky. I loved where I was working before, and they did have an infant room, but since it was a school set up around a specific population, and was paid for all with special grants and funds, I wouldn't have been able to take Caroline. If I could have, I definitely would have continued to work there. Anyway, Molly and Nico will be able to come for a cousin visit soon!
If Baby Reeder doesn't come in the next few days, I'm set to be induced Monday morning. We are so excited! My house is pretty clean, most of the baby stuff is ready, our freezers are full and I already picked out a special post-baby beer for sometime next week. Baby is welcome to come anytime after today now.
Oh, Ellen that's exciting! Yes, names...I never told you mine. You already used one of my girl name-Caroline. Our other girl name was Bridget. I still tink Bridget Guilliatt is good. But alas, Bridget Reeder is nice too. I also like Elise and Alice.
What beer is the beer of choice? I had a Guinness in the hospital after Jude was born.

I forgot to wish the couples Happy Anniversary! Hope you had fun!
Molly who will be watching Nico? Are you nervous to leave him?
Yes, he got in also for poor fine motor skills, easy distractibility and poor self help skills.

Molly, Don't worry. It sounds like everything is set up so it can be OK. And it will be OK. Grandpa
That sounds like a great setup, Molly!

Baby Reeder! Have you settled on names in both genders? Let us know the news!
What beer did you choose?
